We are pretty much settled in and organized in our new apartment. We have been meeting our neighbors already. Patty spent quit a while the other day talking with the caretaker of the apartment building. We ate lunch at a local restaurant where we have been praying for the owners for quit some time (Michele and Rodrigo). Michelle asked us to come back in the mornings so we all can set and talk. Our neighbors, an elderly coupple named Luiz and Maria Fransisco seem really nice. Maria plays the piano many hours throughout the day. We are praying for an opportunity to share the Lord with them. Last week I ate lunch with Dr Jerry and he again shared that he wants to help us in any way he can. He actually plays the guitar and sings. We will see how the Lord will use him.
Last night we attended a youth rally conducted by churches in the region. I was invited to preach. The Lord blessed His Word and three young people surrendered their lives to the Lord. Douglas came with me and told the other teens that he was the first member of the Hope Baptist Church.
