Wow! We just got in from having dinner with Gustavo and Lisandra. What blessing it was. Tonight they surprised us by sharing how they are really excited about our church plant and want to help in every way possible. They even want to start giving their tithe to the church plant. We have been praying for a couple like this and the Lord has brought one right from among the people that live here on the North Side. Tonight at dinner we shared with them the philosophy of the new church and how our goal will be to be an obedient church serving the city in the Gospel for the glory of God. They had lots of questions about how a church is planted. We told them that this is our first time as well so we all would be learning a lot together. It seems that tonight a deep expression of commitment was made on their part. We are so excited to have this type of couple by our side. This is truly the Lord’s doing and is marvelous in our eyes.
